Repenting Butterflies

Butterfly

How will I know that I am truly yours? How will I know that by repenting and turning away from evil that it is not too late?

“Cocoon”

Please help me to understand Lord

“Before there is a butterfly there is a cocoon. The being inside that cocoon can do nothing against storms, harsh winds and attacks from predators. It can only wait in its transformation. When the butterfly is transformed it does not hesitate with thoughts of danger to its former resting place. It leaves the cocoon in order to clothe itself with the wonders of God.”

Are you saying I shouldn’t worry when I can do nothing about that worry? And I suppose that when butterfly’s seek the things of God, you are speaking of flowers?

“The nature of a butterfly is simple. Once transformed it seeks the kingdom of God for the things it requires in order of completion. Don’t be afraid of what you’ve come from but be eager to become dressed in God’s kingdom.”

Matthew 6:27
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

  1. I like this. I worry too much. It not only doesn’t make my life longer (probably) but also doesn’t make it more enjoyable. Time to let it go :)

  2. I love this. I feel like I can identify with the butterfly for many reasons. Basically we need to let go of things that we have no control over.

  3. Inked Pen says:

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you

    O ye of little faith?
