Luke 6:37
“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Christ was mentioning that we should not judge hypocritically. That all judgment must be fair and understood by cause. That we ourselves at one point have done the same deed and therefore are in no manner superior. And if we have yet to do the same deeds that we judge unto others, we have done our own deeds in sin which would neglect us our plead of ignorance in God’s courtroom.
Leviticus 19:15
“‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.
Matthew 5:17
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
God Bless.
I had a debate even about this post:
He Said: “In the poster’s citation of Leviticus 19:15, we find the word “judgment” is not the same as Condemn as cited by the TO. In fact, this word “judgment” is more correctly rendered as “mishpat”, which does not carry the same Hebraic meaning as the TO’s in his Topical thrust”
I said: “We choose to believe what our heart’s content. ‘you’ll never do what your heart deems wrong yet always do what your heart deems right’”
He Said: “Rather you should seek Truth so you may see Elohiym’s good favor, my esteemed Swag. An “apples to oranges” comparison simply does not do you, nor any of the Firstfruits, appropriate justice.”
I Said: “Even if I try my brother, I still can’t see an error in teaching others not to be hypocrites. If anything, it would please God to know that we esteem ourselves in righteousness and not superiority over and with mankind. Sort what Jesus did with the Pharisee’s and Scribes, yeah?”
Matthew 23:13
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
